Why does my memory card work in my othe phone but not my new one?

This has Never happened to any with any if my other phones. And I don’t want to have to buy a new one.

Well that all depends. It could be a million reasons. One technology is always changing so depending on the new phone you it might not be compatible. Or maybe its the phone it’s self. Your best bet is to take it back to the store and have them put it in another phone that’s the same model and see if it works. Then you can tell a little bit better from there. I feel you with not wanting to get another one, so try that out first. Later.

Sometimes newer models need different memory chips.

back up whats on it to your puter - put it into your new phone and try a format
