Why do people think its crazy to wanna become an actress?
My family thinks it is stupid to want to become an actress when I live in a town that is so tiny. I have chased my dream for several years and nothing has happened. I just dont know if my parents are right about being crazy enough to chase a dream like this. Help me and tell me what I need to do!!
Agree w/ maggot - but since it seems like so many people want to become actors/actresses the competition may be stiff, so maybe figure out how you can carve out a niche that you like. What kind of things are you interested in? Maybe you can “promote” these things - and then you can tell people you’re into marketing / advertising (and then they won’t bug you so much about being an actress ;)
Your not crazy at all, you’re chasing something you love to do and that’s what you have to do. Finish school up, if you plan to go to college, study to be an actress. Believe it or not, some of the actors and actress’ today came from small towns, and look where they are at now.
Don’t give up, just keep chasing it and you will make it.

i think its bcuz theres already too many. if your really smart then u should just forget about acting and become a doctor or a lawyer. if u get really low grades then maybe u should try to pick them up i understand what your going thru when i was small i wanted to become an actress, but i was very smart and i chose to give it up for a better life im sorry im on your parents side!:)
