Answer #1

People Think that if your good you go to heaven , Your bad you go to hell. Is That really True? This is not Even in the bible, You are right Jehovah will clean the earth of wicked people, And all who survive Armaggedon will be in paradise, it Does say that 144,000 will have a special position in heaven because they were bought by Jehovah (Revelation 14:1, 3, 7:4, 9) But the rest who survive Armaggedon and the people who are Resurrected will live On earth. (Psalms 72:7 Isaiah 45:18, 9:6, 7 Revelation 21:3-5) we have to remember that their is only One true religion. (Ephesians 4:5, 13)

I just wanted to see how this question would be answered. buit I know the answer to it. and this is what it is: first of all heaven is not our home earth is our home. remember adam and eve ? ok they were not in heaven but on earth, this is our home… and what JEHOVAH will do is clean this earth up (proverbs 2:21 & 22) some people talk about going to heaven and when you ask them what are you going to do when you get there, they dont know.. but those going to heaven will have a job to do,, (revelation 20:4) HELL::: ok as far as hell goes, first of all there is no such thing as a burning hell ,some where people go to burn for ever and ever,, you should look up the word hell and see what is means. if hell was a burning place why would the bible talk about casting hell into the lake of fire? so fire is going to burn fire lol .? (revelation 20:14)read and think about that.. the words HELL / SHEOL / AND HADES ,all mean the same thing.. ( grave) but the churches want your money so they preach this hell fire thing so you’ll run into the church.. did you know that the bible said that jesus went to hell? read act chapter 2. and I have a lot more scriptures to back up everything I said here, so it anyone have any question about anything here just send me fun mail.. and I’ll tell you where in the bible you can get your answers.. love you all, have a nice day

Not all of us go to heaven. Only those who accept the Lord Jesus Christ goes to heaven. We must also repent of our sins first. The Bible says in John 3 : 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Answer #4

You have to remember the distinction between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Moses talked of eye for an eye (O.T), but Jesus spoke of turn the other cheek (N.T.). All Christian churches preach from both testaments, but it is the New Testament that Christianity is based on.

The Old Testament is where you find the Ten Commandments, the meter by which all acts are judged sinful or not, and the New Testament starts with the books that relay the life and death of Jesus Christ, who, according to all modern Christianity, was sent so that ALL PEOPLE could be forgiven for their sins and be accepted into heaven, contingent that they believe in Jesus Christ. By this dogma, all people are sinners, and it is only those who refuse to believe in Jesus that do not make it into heaven, but all who believe are granted “everlasting life”.

P.S. There are many denominations of Christianity, each with its own particular viewpoint on this matter, vis a vis entrance to heaven. I am curious which one impressed on you this idea that “churches teach all is going to heaven”. I strongly encourage you to look into this matter yourself. If you belong to a church, your pastor/priest or a youth minister should be able to help you satisfy an answer.

Answer #5

Well, there is certainly Biblical evidence to support the idea that everyone is saved.

1 Cor 15:22 is one of many verses that support the idea. The universalist church was founded on such passages.

Answer #6

The are churches who believe that if you don’t accept the free salvation offered by the death and ressurection of Christ you literally go to hell. There are others who argue that when Christ ressurected He took the keys of hell away from satan and locked that place up for good- so then the only hell there is, is the kind people make for themselves. It’s a matter of perspective and on this issue I stay neutral, I will say that only God really knows where people go after death. All I know (from the Bible) is that being a Child of God I am going to Heaven.

Answer #7

not all churches preach that all is going to heaven most tend to preach that one has to reach salvation in order to get into heaven therefore some can still end up in hell.

Answer #8

Many Christians believe that eternal Hell is inconsistent with a loving God. They ask how a loving God could create souls destined for eternal torment.

There is also the fairness argument. Being on Earth a finite amount of time means we can only commit finite sins. Eternal Hell is infinite punishment for finite sins. If it is evil to undeservedly punish someone than that would make God infinitely evil rather than infinitely good. A good God would have to be a fair God.

There is also the compassion argument. I would not wish eternal torment on my worst enemy. How is it that I have more compassion for my worst enemies than God has for his beloved children?
