No one can really know actually, but if your going by the Mayan calender then the world will end 12/21/2012. Or scientist believe that we have a few billion years because they think the world will end when the sun reaches it’s maximum heat level. But either way who really knows?

I highly doubt the world will end 2012. The chances of that happening are very slim. The world could always end at any time. This shouldn’t stop you from living your life . Stop fearing this and just live your life have kids enjoy it while you can.

I don’t think anyone knows when the world will end. I believe in the “creator”, god, and in the bible it says that no one knows when the world will end. I don’t actually believe in global warming either.

There is a lot of speculation around the world ending in 2012. The Mayan calendar stops, and there is some kind of Polar Shift on the 24th of december (I’m not 100% sure about the date).

There have been thousands of apocalypse predictions in the past, and obviously they have all passed. Personally, I think the irony will be that we end our own world. Earth only has approximately 2000 more years left (apparently). If we keep going at the rate we are with burning fossil fuels and releasing poison and carbon into the air, we will not have very long to live.

The world could end in 2012, but it could also end next week.

Don’t worry, providing your life goes well, you will get to see your children and grandchildren.

I’m sure there is as much chance as the world ending tomorrow as it is on 2012. To be honest, things like this are far out of our control. If the world really does end, what can we do?

As for the Mayan calender; people tend to get the wrong idea about it. The Mayan calender completes a revolution which according to the Mayans is a sign of rejoice, to celebrate. Don’t we celebrate when the year ends and we start a new one?

I do realize that global warming is an issue but I highly doubt that in 2 years the mass effect of global warming would be that catstrophic to endanger the world. I suppose this can remind a lot of people that each day shouldn’t be taken for granted. Even though I’m skeptical about global warming, the effects are there.

the world isnt ending the mayan calander just stops, that doesnt mean the world stops obviously way back then they wernt going to write a calander for ever single year of every single decade, because that would be neverending people do recycle and care for the ozone obviously not enough, because a lot more people could care but still, a lot do and even if everyone stoped recycling right now the world still wount die/explode/end/ect in 2 years because of it it will take longer than that
