Where do I go from orange and brown hair?

I had dyed dark brown hair and wanted to go blonde. I get bored with hair fairly easily and wanted to try something different and summer-y. I asked my mom and she said I would have to do it by myself. I took the chance and bought Clairole Born Blonde Maxi. The box said it could even make black hair blonde. How much of a lie that was. I tried it and now my hair is orange/brassy on my top half and brown on the bottom with blonde roots. I am still not allowed to get it fixed, I can’t redye it, and I feel so ugly. Please don’t mock me, just help. What can I do to fix this mess as fast and cheap as possible?

I am thirteen and I just dye my hair a lighter blonde. I would just look at the box and if it is semi perminant or non perminant then it will say how to wash it out or how many washes it will take untill it comes out. Then I would wash it that many times to at least help to fade it. If that doesn’t work then try to wear a hat or big headband if they are allowed in your school. Hope it all works out good. I agree with samleepayton a stripping kit would be the best way to go… unless you go to a hair salon but that pretty expensive…

you could just buy a hair-stripping kit which will strip the color out of your hair. its made to get your hair back to the way it was after a bad dye job and they sell it at the drugstore. it can make your hair a little dry, so just make sure to condition your ends after using it(:
