When a dogs nose is dry does it mean the dog is sick?

My dogs nose is dry and I was wondering if he is sick or not… What do you think.

Answer #1

No…it means NOTHING. Well, it means the air isn’t real humid…it means he hasnt’ licked his nose lately, it means he hasn’t drank any water in the last 30 minutes…

but it doesn’t mean he’s sick…or thirsty,

Neither does a warm nose mean anything other than the nose is room temp.

Answer #3

Well it can mean a number of things, he may just be very warm or dehydrated, make sure to give him plenty of water. If you don’t see a change in him within about 2 weeks you may need 2 bring him 2 a vet

good luck Xx
