Answer #1

kids say all kinds of things the real question is will she act on her threats?? has she hurt anyone in the home?? because if she is a physical threat to any of the people living with her than you may have an issue that might need a little extra effort…but if its just a me me me now now now ill do what I want to do than I think you have an average teenage behaviour… remember to keep the consequences more natural or you will ahve a larger fight on your hands…negative behaviours get natural consequences…ie you dont clean your room than you live in filth and if you cant clean your room than why should I let you use my washing machine… you treat me with disrespect than I will no longer give you an allowance… but you legally cannot refuse food water or clothing…

okay imagine the embarrisment for her going to a therapist thats really not a good idea . . . change her phone to a top up so if she is bad she cant top her phone up there for cant use it . . . dont get her annoyed because then she will just angry . . . you ask me I say leave her its part of life . . . Hormones ! Give her a chance to be herself ! Trust her and let her of the leash a girls got to live !

I was kind of like that with my mother when I was younger, and I’m so glad she treated me the way she did when I was acting out. don’t let her leave the house after school, pick her up right after school and don’t give her time to talk to anyone (if she doesn’t come out of the school go in), take her things away, and if she tries to do anything major do what you have to. when I ran away from home my mom tried telling me I couldn’t go hang out with my boyfriend anymore, so I ran away again with my boyfriend. when they caught me she sent me to a family members home, and I saw how bad my boyfriend was. you need her to get time away from the boy, so she sees what’s wrong with what she’s doing.

Answer #4

Tough love.

Keep on top of her and don’t let go of those reins…if she’s acting out in an aggressive manner, you might want to get her into therapy.

Answer #5

if nothings really working or if she’s starting to get out of control then maybe you should see about getting her put on pins/probation. I was put on pins when I was 16 because of my attitude and well some things I wont list. lol but talk to a psychiatrist about it maybe the next time she treatens you or anyone in your family call the cops on her. it’ll be her wake up call. no matter how much she’s gunna tell you ohh I hate you mom you dont love me blah blah blah, let it in 1 ear and out the other. well, good luck.
