What sort of soap should I use for my hands?

So lately my hands have been getting really dry. I’m convinced that they have gotten dry from me washing my hands a whole lot. I always have to wash my hands whenever I take my contact lenses out or put them in and I used to have such soft hands and this is really a problem for me now. Even when I try to put lotion on, my hands are still dry. Is there any kind of soap I can use for washing my hands that won’t make them so dry and let them go back to the way they were?

I agree, buy some nice soap from b&b. they have the foamy kind that works wonders and smells nice too. I also leave a bottle of lotion next to the soap to put on right after I wash. then really slather some on at night before bed and just let it all soak up! I actually use cetaphil face cream on mine because its super thick and works great!

I have to wash my hands before I put in and take out the lenses. Last time I didn’t I got a bad eye infection. I wash my hands like twice a day, once in the morning when I put in the lenses and once at night when I take them out. But thanks for your advice

You need to stop washing as much. How many times do you take out and put in lenses. Make sure the soap isnt antibacterial. And get this hand cream called eucarin. My doctor recommended it after my hands got really cracked and bleeding. Miracle stuff.
