what should I do on the first date?

Maybe something simple. Perhaps a walk in the park, and then maybe go get some ice cream. Or if it’s too dark and/or cold out, maybe go to a coffee shop (even if you don’t drink coffee… I don’t) that has live music. Music at coffee shops are usually quiet/soft enough so you can easily talk, but yet still have something to talk about and hopefully be entertained. Or, depending on how cold it is outside, maybe try and find a fire-pit, you can roast hotdogs/marshmallows, tell fun stories, and cuddle-up close if you’d like. Or, see if there are any places teaching dance lessons… just take one lesson, I bet you’ll both have a lot of fun, and you can dress-up! (If you have different music tastes, choose something neutral, like swing dancing!) I can’t dance to save my life!, but swing dancing would be a heck of a lot of fun, I wouldn’t be able to get into hip-hop dancing though. Choose whatever suits both of you best. If things go well in any of those scenarios, and you’d like to “cap-off-the-night,” maybe end with a movie at your house or his house… watch a classic, something that you both might know and love. That way, you can share your interests AND talk during the movie without annoying eachother. Plus, you can quote the movie and reminisce. :)
