HALF DOLLARS- flowing hair, draped bust w/ small eagle reverse, draped bust w/ heraldic eagle reverse, capped bust. I would imagine that the spanish coins (gold and silver) were being circulated here as well during that time. the colonies also made their own coinage- n.e. shillings, pine tree and oak shillings, pine tree sixpence and threepence, and a handfull of cents and half cents from massachusetts, vermont, new jersey, connecticut, and virginia.
