What if my friend is really my enemy?

I know this one girl at school. She seemed really nice when I met her (2 years ago) but now she’s nice up front but stabs you as soon as you turn around. I feel like saying, “if you got something to say, say it to my face!” but I don’t, because as much as I want to explode at her, she’s pretty and popular and can make herself cry. This equals a recipe for disaster. Bon appetit! Anyways, as much as I want to just pop my collar and ditch her, the more you pull away, the harder she holds on. I don’t want to destroy my social life just because of her. I’m stuck and I can’t think of a way to just leave her little universe without screwing something up. She knows almost everything about me, so she can mess with almost everything around me. What do I do???

I’m not so sure since I’ve never seen nor met your friend but I say symphaty is the key. by the way you describe this girl… it reminds me of my friend that acts like her too… you never noe… she maybe going through a ruff patch at the moment. I was wonderin my my friend was real “b!tchy” to me all of a sudden… I came to realize that her dad was getting old of age and was always comming back and forth form the hospital =( he died a month in a half after… and it just simply broke her. a year has past, and she’s fine now =) just keep on being nice to your friend, show her that you’ve got her back and that you care… but if she dosent react the same way, and keeps on hurting you… I say…slowly push back away from her… and show her you dont like friends that betray you!
