You should just be there for her and support her in every way possible. If she’s seriously thinking about comitting suicide, be cautious and have her see a counselor. Suicide is pretty serious stuff and can be a temporary solution to problems. I know, when I was dealing with some family problems I had back in June of this year and back when I was in my late teens, I thought about comitting suicide but, that leaves the people that love and care for me devastated and grief stricken. I kept sending red flags to certain people from my church recently back in June since I thought my family would be happy without me but, one of my leaders from church had to be serious about my plans to prepare for suicide and write me a long letter about why I shouldn’t be doing that. You should write your friend a letter to explain to her why she shouldn’t comitt suicide. I know we all have those thoughts but, we can’t hold grudges forever. I myself had to get professional help so I wouldn’t think about that. Just talk to your friend and, don’t ever leave her alone or ignore her in any way. I know how it is to want to kill ourselves and such. Pray for her daily and tell her also “The Lord wouldn’t want you yet” Then see what she does. Our Lord and savior wouldn’t want your friend for she has allot ahead of her in life. I myself have many people in my life that love and care for me and, that’s why I couldn’t comitt suicide. I’m sure that goes for your friend. She has people that love and care for her. She wouldn’t want to leave them behind would she? Have her read the bible or other scripture to invite the spirit of the Lord in and he can confert, guide, and heal her. You love her as you would anyone else, and stick by her no matter what happens. I wish you two the best and please! seek some professional help for her so she doesn’t comitt suicide.

Answer #2

tell her to think about good things shes done and tell her if she does think about the people who love her and its a dumb idea to kill yourself and tell her if she hates her life then to just start fresh forget everything and to just restart and rethink everything. DONT LET HER DO IT! good luck!!!

Answer #3

omg. you should tell her that she should not do this to herself cause there is always someone to help her through her problems. tell her that killing herself will only make things worse.

Answer #4

No problem, need anything else… let me know. I’m good at listening/giving advice.

Answer #5

Go buy her a gift. Like a plastic bag, or maybe some rope.

Answer #6

Exactly, alexboo13 is VERY right. Suicide only makes matters worse for those left behind.

Answer #7

tell her that she would be leaving behind TONS of people who love her, and killing herself makes more people upset then she is. Tell her she still has a lot to live for. if your really good friends with her, take a road trip for awhile, make her feel better :]]

Answer #11

Take her seriously and make sure she knows you’re there for day or night, any time !! - make sure she has this number in case she can’t reach you - If you need someone to just listen, just talk to, or pray with you: 24 hrs: 1-800-488-4673 - compliment her often and keep her spirits up and pray for her…I wish both of you the best !!

Answer #12

Answer #14

Suicide is a very serious matter, so don’t ignore her and think she’s lying/faking. Take her seriously. My advice to you is to be there for her. Don’t leave her alone. Let her know that you care and that your there for her. She should know - suicide is a permanent solutation for a temporary problem. Tell he not to be afraid to get professional help. That doesn’t mean she’s crazy or anything like that. Be sure she knows that if she went through with it, all the people who love and care for her, like her family and friends, would be crushed. Would she really want to hurt her loved ones like that? I doubt it. Just talk with her and always support her and be there for her.

Answer #15

tell her that there are lots of people that love her.

and then go ask her to talk to a psychologist. you arent trained to be a shrink, and someone who can help her should know about her condition!

she might have a hormone deficiency that causes her to be really depressed, and that can be fixed! but tell her in a loving way. “I dont want anything bad to happen to you so I thought I should take these precautions so that I can make sure my best friend stays alive”

the bottom line is that people thinking about suicide have something going on that is worrying them..and a psychologist can be really helpful in working through whatever problem she has.
