Google is a play on words, taking the erm ‘Googol’, which means 10 to the power of 100.

Not the biggest number, it means that there are 100 zeroes after the 1.

The pun is that google has the answers to that many questions!

also, google refers to EYES as in looking or searching, hence the two EYES in the logo. geez.
