What-Does changing the volume and mass do something? HELP!?

Say you have a container and you have to fill it up with water or any liquid, and then have to find it’s mass and substance and the desity.

Would changeing the the volume of a particular substance chance it’s mass-to-volume ratio? how? Also for Mass?

Answer #1

Weight of container after filled with liquid - weight of container before filled with liquid = mass of liquid

Changing the volume of a particular substance would not change it’s mass-to-volume ratio (it’s density,) it would just increase the mass.
