Is it weird that I get along with my dad more than my mom?

It’s that my mom gets mad cause me and my dad do more together, than i do stuff with her. Me and my pops go to games together and watch sports. It’s like my mom picks a fight with me so my dad can get mad at me.

Absolutely not. I really don’t think it has anything to do with being a “daddy’s girl” either. I was always closer to my dad, and much like you it was because we bonded over sports, history, etc. It may have something to do with the fact that you have more in common or it may just be that you get along with him better. While your dad my not understand your “girl problems,” he can always be a sympathetic ear and can always be there for you and support you. So no, it’s not weird at all.

That’s not weird at all, most girls do get along with there dads more and boys get along better with there mother, from my experiances with kids and parents

Thats not weird , Girls are usually daddy’s little girl & boys are mommas boys lol I was like that w. My dad & my baby sister is 2 & already says I’m daddys little girl lol

Nah not weird I get along with my dad more I like my mom but she’s never been around much or ever really showed she’s cared.

I don’t think so… I am WAY closer with my dad than with my mom. I’ve always been. I don’t know I just to click with her and there’re things that sometimes I just can’t stand. With my dad, I feel I can tell him anything and he’ll listen to me and try to actually help me. I love my mom…buy I’m a daddy’s girl :)

Honestly, just because you are a girl does not mean that you will favour your mother more, or vice versa. I really think it depends on who spoils you more :)

lol My dad is the only family member of mine that I have never really really been mad at. It’s really normal I’m pretty sure :P Girls get along better with their dads.

I don’t think its weird, because it really happens in the family, wherein we become more close with mom or with dad. Anyhow, I both love them. My parents have different parenting style, where my dad is more strict while mom is more nurturing, so I’m closer with mom. Nevertheless, I love them too much and I am thankful to have parents like them.

It’s not weird; usually there is one parent for everyone that we can ‘relate to slightly more’ or ‘confide in slightly better’ +though you get on better with your dad it’s important never forget that that both parents love you equally:)

no its not.. i myself am a daddys girl!! i love my mom but we always butt heads.. i wish my dad was here today.. RIP daddy!!
