What are the odds I can sing good my parents used to sing good till they smoked but my sises cant people have told me I can but im not sure if they are just being nice, also I know american idol is fake but is the part about random people auditioning real like can I relay go audition and get in or what Please help !!!11

You should just go for it. The worst that can happen is they’ll say ‘Sorry, next’…but at least you tried. My mom sings, and I sing and my brother and sister can’t carry a tune to save their lives lol. Just do it. You only live once. =]

IF THEY TELL ME your GOOD JUST NOT GOOD ENUFF SHOULD I GET A VOICE COACH CAUSE I HAVENT HAD ONE AND SINGGIN ONE SONG LIKE A BEYONCE SONG AT FULL RANGE trying TO HIT NOTES HURTS MY THROAT A LITTLE BIT

if you want to become an excellent singer, you should consider getting a voice coach so then you can learn to hit high notes without pinching your throat ( otherwise known as hurting your throat). I take chorus at school, so I know that in order to hit high notes, you have to take a very deep breath, and then hit the high note.
