Seriously..I pray someday I find someone, some guy that I can look to as an older-brother sort of guy, and that HE can walk be down the isle--because if I have anything to do with it, my father is not coming to the wedding. Not right now. Sure, maybe he'll be invited if I am pestered enough by family, but he sure as hell isn't walking me down the isle--
anyway.
Is it nessessary?
Why? I mean, everybody but you has said it doesn't matter, so I'm just curious. Is it in your religion, or your personal preference? Thanks for replying though!
It's your special day, do what YOU want. If you don't want your father to walk you; (Or anyone else) so be it.
you don't have to have anyone walk you down the isle if you don't want... it's your wedding, your preference.
