I have a good voice and if i learn how to use it i think it would be amazing. i have kind of chris cornells range and billie joe armstrongs, the guy from the script voice but i cant reach fully or as defined as they can. i wish i can someday but i mean if i cant now will i ever can?

Keep in mind that with today's technology, almost everything you hear that's been recorded has been fixed, enhanced or corrected by a recording engineer for example. When you hear it 'live', often it's not the same. Just do your best and remember this, you have to be yourself too. I have emmulated (sp) a favorite artist before in my playing and singing and gotten close but not exactly, I finally decided I was doing ok and had to 'me" with my own style. Just because you don't sound exactly like "them", doesn't mean it is'nt good.
You have to start somewhere. If you already naturally have a good singing voice there's definitely room for improvement. You could get a singing coach or you could just practice on your own.
