How will my ex react to me dating his friend?

I’m in grade ten, and just broke up with my last boyfriend about a week ago. To be honest, I’m fine, but he didn’t take it very well. And now I’m interested in this new guy. We’ve talked a few times, and he’s gorgeous and sweet. He invited me over to his house, so I took the invitation. I went over and we made out for a bit. After, he said he wanted me to come with him next week to a party his friend is having… I asked what the name was, and he said my ex’s name. I’m terrified about how my ex will react to his friend dating me, when he was shattered when I dumped him. Any advice on what I should do? thanks (:

just put yourslef in his position. and yeah, its strange that you didnt know they where friends.. be carefully that this isnt some sick messed up trick theyre playing on you lol.. but yeah, go out there and have fun, he’ll probly get over it quicker if you do that

your x probably wont like it very much..he may show that he doesnt like it or he may hide it and say he doesnt care…either way he definetely cares and doesnt like what is going on..id go to the party and just have fun but dont be all over his friend…even thou you are ex’s you should still have respect for you ex..and when it comes to his friend id be careful because you may end up hurt

Kind of strange that you didnt even know this guy is a friend of your exes. Do they live in different areas, or what? I mean, dont couples usually know who each others friends are? Maybe you need to slow things down, and just get to know guys better before getting into a relationship with them. Of course your ex is going to be hurt…he got dumped! How would you feel if the tables were turned, and you were the one that got dumped, and your ex started dating YOUR friend?

May I suggest, NOT making out with boys until you are in a relationship with them. It wont make you look so easy, or desperate!

just go to the party and have a good time if you see him there just dont try to make him miss you tell you would like to be friends
