Vertical Clit Hood Piercing

im thinking about getting a vert. clit hood piercing, I was mostly wondering is there anyway you can tell that your hood is too small before you go to a studio? Also I was wondering if it hurt really bad b/c I’ve read articals and some say it feels good and others dont; or does it depend on your pain tolerance?

I had my vertical hood piercing done yesterday, Im 19 and I was scared because of all the expierences I have read online as they said it hurt a lot and I cannot handle pain! However it does not hurt, it stings for about 2/3 seconds and then its done! If you want it doing, just go for it! You will love the outcome :)

I don’t think it can be too small for the vertical, but the bigger it is the better - farther away from the nerves. It’s supposed to hurt a lot, but I think it varies on the persons clitoris and also their pain tolerance.

If you want it, don’t listen to what other people say - Go for it =]

I have myine done… I completley intended on getting the “Triangle” piercing when I went to get it… but my piercer said I dont have the anatomy for it, and said I could get the VCH done instead. so I did. and I LOVE IT! it hurt…but not terribly bad. I also have my nip*les done…they hurt far much worse then my VCH. lol… I thought the VCH would hurt more… but it didnt… I actually jumped near out of my skin when he marked me down there with the marker. lol the piercing wasnt bad though… it was one of the least painful I have, suprisingly. (I have 21 piercings). lol

I say go for it :) its pretty…discrete… and yes. it DOES feel good!!! lol you wont necessarily get off from walking or anything… but if someone plays with it its pretty damn awesome! lol

and yea… if you go to the peircer, and it turns out you dont have the anatomy for it… they will tell you which one you are more suited for.

just dont drop your pants and end up going home without one!!!

you’ll be happy with whatever you get!! I promise.

good luck!!!

not to mention guys love it.

dont listen to the first post when they say its suppost to hurt a lot. because it doesnt.

let me break it down.

…pain is a combination of nerves in the area, and toughness of the skin/tissue/muscle. for example… a caritlage body piercing, like the traigus would hurt DIFFERENTLY then a nipple piercing traigus piercings are more cartilage, less nerves…nipple piercings are tougher tissue, more nerves. …the VCH, for nearly all women, is a fairly soft gentle tissue, with some nerves. because of this… you will FEEL the piercing… but it doesnt neccessarily HURT.

(yes, contrary to popular belief… even though its on a womand cl*t, its not passing through an area jam-packed with nerve endings. there are some there… but the nerve ending/skin toughness/ skin thickness ratio is sooo small.) it literally only passes through no more skin then a regular ear piercing…usually a lot a lot less. …what makes the piercing look like it passes through more skin is the “Hood” part. its an oblonged funnel shape thing. its hard to explain.

just get it done!!! I can honestly say you wont regret it… if pain is the only thing stopping you, your being very foolish!!!

haha best luck :)
