For Cali. residents like yourself, there are 3 ways to be admitted (although admittance is not guaranteed if you meet these requirements).

Statewide Eligibility: Subject requirements Examination requirements (ACT and SAT) The minimum GPA is 3.0 for California residents, 3.4 for nonresidents.

Local Eligiblity: Must rank in top 4% of California high school graduating class Minimum GPA of 3.0

Eligibility by Exam Alone: To qualify this way, you must achieve a minimum UC Score Total—calculated according to the instructions below—of 410 (425 for nonresidents). In addition, you must earn a minimum UC Score of 63 on each component of the ACT or SAT Reasoning Test and on each SAT Subject Test.
