I think people were more open to the idea of increased security measures until those measures seemed to be edging onto the territory of invading their privacy. A few x-rays, a machine that can sniff out certain compounds, random pat-downs, alright. A machine that virtually undresses you for the viewing pleasure of some pretty unfriendly TSA staff members? Well, that’s not so desirable.

Personally, I’d rather cooperate than give attitude and end up in a bigger issue. Things could be getting a bit extreme, but it seems people are still slipping through the cracks when it comes to hurting others no matter how rough or advanced our security and the agents employed under that security become. It’s give and take.

Well said Nero- if you make a fuss it is only your time and comfort that will be in jeopardy, like arguing a traffic ticket with a police officer…
