Trying to learn how to cook!!!
what are some easy recipes that dont take a lot of preperation or time to cook. im trying to learn how to cook!!!
Try this:
make a pot of rice - 1 cup rice, two cups colc water, a touch of butter, a little salt. Bring to a boil, turn down and simmer until water is gone. Keep a lid on the pot all the time you are cooking, except when you check to see if there is any water left. Just stir a little right to the bottom - you will be able to tell right away if your rice is ready. While the rice is cooking, put a pot of vegetables on. I use frozen veggies, add a little water, bring to a boil, then turn down and simmer until ready. Touch with a little butter and salt. Last, put a filet of whatever fish you like in a pan - a small cake pan works well. Add enough milk to jsut cover the fish. Add a little pepper, if you want. Put it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 350F. To check, use a fork and stick it in the fish - it should flake apart easily. Once all is cooked, make a bed of rice on a plate. Take the fish from the milk and lay the it on the rice. Arrange some veggies around the rice. There you have it - a very simple and tasty meal - poached fish, rice and veggies! Have fun!

PASTA!
Most packages give the cooking times . Just use plenty of water, and add a little salad/cooking oil so it doesn’t get all sticky. The cooking times are short, and if you turn it off a few minutes ahead, you can add anything you like - chopped-up vegetables, canned tuna fish or shrimp, and of course tomatoes… cook it all for a minute or two and then serve. So easy!
