How to pick up a girl with trust issues?

Last week I started dating a girl that I became extremely good friends with last fall. Only problem is that she has realy bad trust issues. She knows I’ve never cheated on a g/f in the past, but is always worried that I will with her. She says part of it is my looks. I know Im decent looking but Im nothing amazing. She says she would always date overweight/unattractive guys in the past cause it was less likely they would cheat on her. (looks dont matter to her btw) She says that in the past week I’ve done more for her than any previous b/f has in the same time span. She says words arnt enough to prove I truely want her and will be faithful to her. Anyone got any ideas??

Some girls are just very insecure and it’s about them not about you personally. It will take time, it could be a long time, of her to see that you are not going to stray to eventually be able to be comfortable and trust you. It can be frustrating because you yourself know there is nothing for her to worry about. But it’s not going to make much difference. You can’t change this kind of thinking overnight. You have to build up trust and eventually she should change her attitude. She must have been cheated on and/or treated badly in the past. I know it isn’t fair that you have to try and pick up the pieces for some other d*ckheads bad behaviour, but if you like this girl just be patient. At least she is being upfront about her worries. It may help to call/msg her a bit more than normal on days you don’t see her, to reasure her that she is on your mind. Do NOT mention ex girlfriends in any way shape or form and tell her to her face that she can trust you. You may have to keep saying it but eventually it will sink in.
