How can I treat my burnt face?

I cannot put a lot of moisturiser on it because Im prone to getting oily skin. And I don’t know if this means anything but I also have sensitive skin.

Answer #1

It depends on how burnt it is. If it is not too serious, then run some cold water over it or put an icepack on it. Don’t cover it up with anything like a band aid though, it won’t let air get to it. If it’s infected, don’t apply any ice or cream or anything at all. Some people say it’s not good to place a bandage on it but ive done it before and nothing went wrong. Seek medical attention if it’s infected though.

Answer #3

Sorry I should have said that it is sunburn. And yeah my face is pretty red. Sorry.

Answer #4

Lol no problem :)) A trick my mum uses that she learnt from her mum is to put skim milk on it. Dab some on a cloth and put it on your sun burn. I searched it up and apparently the coolness takes out the initial fire, and the milk creates a protein film that helps ease the ensuing discomfort. Another way I found is take a bath with green tea. The tannin in the tea draws out some of the pain and can soothe the redness.

thankyou, I will defiantly take that on board!

Answer #6

The skin milk is what my nana tells me to use when i burn… she even uses it on my 4 yr old cousin… Panama Jack has a After Sun Burn Relief jell… it has Pure Aloe and Lidocaine&doesnt affect my sensative skin… its just a little sticky for a minute lol
