What are interesting topics to text about?

So here’s the situation, I met this girl and we are attracted to each other so she ended up giving me her number. (Btw I’m in 10th grade and she’s in 9th) The next day I ended up texting her and she gives one worded answers like Yeah(: or Okay(: and I don’t know how to respond afterwards. What types of questions or topics should I bring up? I don’t want to sound boring, I really want this to go well.

HI! I would ask her questions to get to know her better, like her likes, and dislikes. Girls love boys who pay attention to them. Ask her how her day was, If she has any brothers, or sisters, her favorite TV shows, tell her how pretty she is, but also open up to her about your day. She gave you her number for a reason. Don’t be nervous just ask her questions about herself. I’m guessing you see each other at school? Talk about school too.

i hate when people text that way… haha it irritates me i just dont respond back…. haha but just be like what you up to? or how was your day? or b like me n say random stuff… hahaha or just ask her more about herself
