teacher wan't me to write fake trial worth 300 points on a book that they didn't send me to use this year.... what do i do?

so this year I was supposed to write a report on a book. it was supposed to be a fake “trial” for a character in a book. which they didn’t send me. or anyone else. and so they excused the lessons for that book, but still want us to do this huge grade project on something that none of us could read! I don’t know what to do…. I am already failing miserably in literature and my teacher is a freaking dumbass…. ( -_-)

Answer #1

Maybe see if the library has the book or let your school know you didn’t get the book

Answer #2

everyone in the class didn’t get the book so they excused the lessons, but still want us to do the test.

Answer #3

That’s odd, I would be asking them how can you take a test on something you didn’t read

Answer #4

You previously said your school had not sent you the book:

“Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus”, by Mary Wollstonecraft (Godwin) Shelley,

….. that I already posted a link for. So you had access to the full text of that particular assessed book (in a variety of electronic formats) nearly two weeks ago.

If the teacher requires you to write a “fake trial” for a character in an (as yet) unspecified book, that NONE of the students have been given access to, then you can presumably complete your grade project on any fictional character whose persona fits the assessed “trial” criteria.

If so, I suggest you go ahead and complete your project with a dramatization of a trial of Frankenstein’s Monster - using evidence that can be justified by citing material from the searchable text in Shelley’s book,

that you have already had plenty of time to read, via the link which I repost below:
