How does tanning lotion work?
I wanna try it but I just don’t see how putting oil on your skin makes you get darker, when the only thing that really contributes to getting a tan is melanin production which is hormonal
From what I’ve read is that some of the oils in tanning lotion cause you to absorb UV rays more while causing your body to create more melanin. In sunless tanning lotion something called DHA is added which reacts to the amino acids on your skin by changing colors.
also for just a fake tan, it has oils and colors that go into your skin fof that fake tan
it absorbes the suns rays
