Or find a website that would be helpful? I'm so lost right now because I DO NOT understand the bible at all. I've tried to read it but it's so confusing and hard to understand. I have to work on a power point about Jeremiah 31-52 and present it and I am so lost and worried.
That's a lot of text. I will not summarize it all for you, but I can suggest a "tool" that will help you to summarize it for yourself more easily than you can do on your own.
Among the many editions/translations of the Bible, there are several different ones that are called "The Jerusalem Bible." One of those is a popular (easy to find) Roman Catholic edition published in the USA by Doubleday Inc., and edited by Alexander Jones. It's an excellent translation overall (probably my favorite for the quality of the language), but in addition to that it offers the great advantage of bold-highlighted thematic or topical headers and sub-headers, averaging maybe two or three per page, that tell you what each paragraph or short section is about. That makes it much easier to skim through, to find what your looking for, to get a sense of the big picture without having to plow through all the details, etc. I highly recommend it both for your current need and in general.
