Should I start revising for my GCSE's in January?

Well, I was thinking… should I start revising in January for my GCSE’s in May, June, and July? I mean… sure it’s going to be hard to stay motivated when there is so much time… but it’ll be worth it, right? At the moment I am doing my mocks… and I am doing okay, but for my real ones I want to be MUCH more prepared. I haven’t had much time to revise, as I have been getting so much coursework and homework. But, as long as I do good in my real GCSE’s, that’s all that matters isn’t it? So do you think it would be worth starting revising in January? Just like an hour a day or something, or an hour every other day, and build it up as it gets closer to the exams? What do you think?

You should start studying as soon as possible. Do just a little bit a few nights a week and it will help so much in the long run. GCSEs aren’t as hard as people make them out to be, but they still require a lot of study and effort on your part. What I found helped me, was I chose a subject at a time, gathered all of my notes and papers on that subject, brought a little book from a cheap shop and re-wrote my notes nicely and in the order I wanted. While I was writing, I was learning and honestly, those books saved me! They were just the notes I needed, diagrams, graphs etc etc. No random class-work or anything that I didn’t need to read. I did this for most of my subjects, I highly recommend it.

Thank you! That way has seemed to work for me too in the past. Haha, but for some reason, with science, the only way I can remember it is if I memorise it word for word! I think I’m gunna have to invest in some textbooks…. ;D
