Answer #1

the math equation? a good way to remember it is the saying: Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally. it stands for parentheses, exponent, multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. you follow each of those operations in order from left to right, if one isnt there then you skip it and move onto the next one listed and continue until your problem is solved. hope this helped! :)

Answer #2

yeah i know but everytime i use it i get it wrong! lolz!

Answer #3

haha whats the problem? maybe i can help you solve it and demonstrate it for youu

Answer #4

Eventually you’ll have it memorized considering you’ll be using it for the rest of your school years. P = parentheses, E = exponent(s), M = multiplication, D = division, A = addition, S = subtraction. Now from what my math teacher from this year told me, you can also switch the MD and AS around. Like it could be DS and SA… Try writing it down :)

Answer #5

true i should have learned it last year and i still dont get it. i wonder how i passes considering my level os stupidness

Answer #6

Everyone else gave good advice, so I’ll just give an example. Let’s say the problem is 8 - 6 + (7 x 3) x 2. Try doing that without looking at my answer first.

Step one: (7 x 3) = 21 So your problem now is, 8 - 6 + 21 x 2

Step two: 21 x 2 = 42 Your problem now is, 8 - 6 + 42

Step three: 8 - 6 = 2 Your problem now is, 2 + 42

Step four: 2 + 42 = 44

Your answer is 44.
