Is it me or does Skrillex's songs all sound the same?

yesss! its very annoying

he makes a couple of songs then he takes sounds from those songs and makes new ones from the same drops and wobbles, i used to look up to him but when i found out how he makes his music, i honestly think im a better artist.

Yeah I agree, most of Skrillex’s songs do sound similar & yeah most dubstep tracks do sound similar.. But Skrillex’s tracks are pretty much identical, I went of him a while back and started listening to some real good dubstep after seeing him live which was by the way, beyond increadable.. But after going there and all I could listen to his music was from my iPod it all didn’t seem so great.. If you manage to get tickets go and see him you won’t regret it!!

the reason why most dubstep sounds sound familiar is because the theory behind dubstep, much like how a riffs and fills work in rock music, they mostly sound the same, but with dubstep producers become lazy and borrow sounds from other artists, meanwhile people like me make all of our sounds from scratch rather than borrowing something from someone else.
