sixth sense and God?

What does it mean to have a sixth sense? And can everybody use it? I am a Christian and I dont believe in satany things, but I feel like I have a sixth sense or something. Like I feel stuff in my mind and it’ll come true in a matter of time. I cant make things happen in my mind, its just that I feel what will happen inside of me. Its really hard to explain and Im really confused about it. Maybe im just a good guessor, I don’t know. but im not very smart. so Is thinking this gonna make God angry with me? Please give me advice, I might be over reactting but I just wanna know.

Extrasensory perception (ESP) (or extra-sensory perception) is the apparent ability to acquire information by paranormal means independent of any known physical senses or deduction from previous experience. The term was coined by Duke University researcher J. B. Rhine to denote psychic abilities such as telepathy, precognition, Retrocognition, Intuition and Psychokinesis. ESP is also sometimes casually referred to as a sixth sense, gut instinct or hunch . The term implies sources of information currently unexplained by science.

Parapsychology is the study of paranormal psychic phenomena, including ESP. Parapsychologists generally regard such tests as the ganzfeld experiment as providing compelling evidence for the existence of ESP. The scientific community does not accept this due to the disputed evidence base, the lack of a theory which would explain ESP, and the lack of experimental techniques which can provide reliably positive results

Dont feel weird even religion believes in the sixth sense as do most spiritual beliefs

Don’t worry. First of all, God can’t possibly be angry with you for an ability that is God-given. Secondly, some people are just more perceptive than others, and I do believe that sometimes people have premonitions, but I think that happens as a result of closeness to God. Just don’t use it in any way to hurt people, and who knows it could be very helpful. Plus, everyone gets a sense of deja vu sometimes. Good Luck and God Bless

Just to add one more thing… The Bible speaks highly of prophets. My mother named me Nathan (for Nathan the prophet), because people of her church prophesied over me when I was still in the womb. My whole life growing up in that church peopled always said they were having dreams about me… prophetic ones. I was not born with prophetic abilities… I had to develop them. Funny that the majority of people in the United States say they are Christian yet they don’t believe in prophets and others like that.

Sounds like De Ja Vue - you’ve been there, done that before - nothing wrong with that - we all get that to different degrees - God would not be mad but you’re right we have to be careful and prayerfully discern especially these days what is of God (influence) and avoid what is not…Take care !!

Answer #5

If we were not meant to have it… God would not have given it to us… When I say “God” I am not referring to Christianity by any means. Even in the Bible there are prophets. The coming of Christ was foretold by a prophet. I do believe in Christ but not modern day Christianity. You are just a prophet… nothing evil about it.

Answer #6

Well according to the bible(which I think is bull) everything you think about is what god wanted you to think. He’s the one who had you think it so he wont get mad at you. Everything you do and think about has already been planned by him.

Answer #7

How can you not believe in “satany” things? If you believe in god than you have to believe in satan. You can’t have one without the other, it doesn’t work like that.

Answer #8

Yeah your right, I didn’t word that correctly, I meant to say I dont follow satany things.
