Why don't singers write meaningful songs anymore?

coz we love them more with without meaning of lyrics.. he he he ! now adays music is every thing dear so enjoy songs and don’t take tension about them,,,,,

They do. You are just looking at the wrong genres of music. The deep, meaningful stuff still exists. Only the plastic-party-boom-tchack-lala music has higher sales numbers.

I think every song is still meaningful in their own way. It may not have a meaning to you, but it might have a meaning to the person who wrote it, even if it was the song “bad romance” You just have to find the songs that have meaning to you.

Music nowadays is way too far from the music scene maybe decades ago.. Singers, songwriters today only cares about money and the fame they can get when writing songs, they just write and write and never thinks of the messages/lessons they can give to the listeners as long as they make money.. A little hmmmm, a crappy sentence, a lots of whatevers made by the artists themselves and boooom,, money money money.. We can also blame ourselves for listening to their crappy songs, as long as we like the artists, we dont give a damn care, we just listen and act what they do.. But still, yeah best of luck to those guys..

Sadly, for the most part, that’s not what sells anymore…much like wholesome, positive, inspirational, uplifting movies…..not desired in society today…..
