How can we get my cat to accept this new kitten?

Agh my dad wants to get rid of my cat because he wont accept my new cat like my other cat is doing. ( 3 cats in total) I just got a new kitten and one of my cats is getting used to him, while the other one is…not at all. But he got used to the second cat we got. I dont know what his problem is. I understand completely how territorial they are but…my god help

He deffinately needs some more time, I had a similar problem when I brought my kitten hom eto my cat. It would be extremely unfair to give away the cat which you have had for much longer because of his natural response to this new “intruder”. Thousands of pets are taken to the shelter and uthinized because of this type of thinking. It can take more than a month for animals to get used to eachother. This takes time! Please be fair to these animals who love and depend on you for their life. Dont force the two together, and supervise the time they are around eachother. Also, dont keep them locked away in seperate places, if they aren’t harming eachother, what does it matter? Your older cat will get over it, I promise. Give him lots of love around the new kitten so he sees he is not being shunned and that the kitten isnt a threat. Good luck!
