Shes not a true friend, but I dont want to be mean.

Kay so I have this friend, and ever since I met her, I could tell that she wasnt a super good person, I was like really scarred to get close to her, and all my other firends told me to be careful so I kept my gaurd up for awhile (and lost a ton of other friends because of it) anyways, I let her get close to me, since she really had no one else, ever since then, our friendship has been up, and down. Right now its more down then it ever has been, and this sounds mean I guess… But I feel really good about it, im starting to become tight with all my old friends again (the true ones) so I told this girl to leave me alone for awhile to give me time to think, but she keeeps on talking to me… She just texted me saying that her parents are gettign a divorce, and that with our friendship on the rocks its killing her, and she cant take it… Im sick of being her friend, cause I always give (never take) ans she always takes (never gives) I dont want to be rude to her, but I really dont want to talk to her, or have any contact with her what so ever. I dont want to be friends with this girl anymore!!! Please help me!!!

S*hit sucks. if you feel like you don’t want to be friends with her (because shes shady, not a good person, ect.) then don’t. don’t feel bad for it it’s just life, and your gut is probably right. cause in the end its what YOU want. its YOUR life YOUR friends, so choose carefully on the people you want in your life

it’s her fault for pushing you away, she sounds like a bit of a liar to me, and uses sympathy to try get your attention. I never give up my attention to time waisters. if it were me I’d tell her where to go. maybe she is having a tough time, but she can’t take advantage of you, because if you go back to her then you might lose your real friends again, and maybe not be so luckly to have them back next time, so think about yourself and you are far from being mean. =)
