Obviously not. In 1954 our national motto was changed from the inclusive "E Pluribus Unum" to the more exclusive "In God We Trust." The same year the words "one nation under God" were added to the pledge of allegiance. Several states even still have laws on the books that require public officials to acknowledge a higher power.
In anyones life, their core values should guide them in real-life decisions morally.....sadly many 'talk' values but don't follow them in their public/private lives...Individual choice
there should always be a separation of church and state. The laws and presidents are supposed to represent all of us, not just one religious group.
