Scotland or the states?

I’m a senior in high school and I’ve been offered 2 full time jobs, one in the states and one is in Scotland, which should I take?

Answer #1

You’ve got to weigh out your options with more than just location. Which one will benefit you more? Which one will allow you to progress and go higher up? Which one will you enjoy more? Which one pays more? Which one will offer you more opportunities?

Answer #2

I agree with bathory. You have to see which place offers more benefits. U also need to see the amount of expenses. Ur main goal should be to rise higher :) for that you should check which place would be the best option.

Answer #3

If you have no preference between the two on the basis of other factors, I would suggest that you take the overseas job: In Scotland if you are American, and in the USA if you are Scottish. The exposure to a different culture will add a whole different dimension of lasting value to your experience.

Answer #4

Just remember all of the things you would have to organise for either one. For example in the Scotland job you’d be starting a new job and possibly having to find a new flat etc and also having family maybe staying in the states and you being all the way in Scotland
