I really don't like school

What should I do? I really don’t like school, I have too many free periods and there is nothing to do and I’m not interested in any of my subjects, so I am constantly bored. After I got my exam results I kind of gave up on school because eve though I tried I still got crap results. My parents want me to go to university but I don’t care but I don’t have a clue what else to do. Today I was so close to walking out of class and just leaving school. I don’t want to waste another year of my life and end up with nothing…again.

I’m in a similar situation, I’m at uni but not really interested in my course enough. It makes it doubly difficult if you’re not interested in the subject area. I guess in a way it is character building though. If you didn’t do well enough, you need to decide what you did wrong. Whether you did enough objectively, whether you could do more. I only have a year left then I am completely free, so that is my motivation :) How long do you have left? If it’s another year or two then I reckon you should force yourself to do it, and force yourself to do good. At least then you have options at the end of it, you don’t have to go to university, but you’ll have your high school education. As I say it’ll be hard, but I guess in a way that’s kind of the point, it’ll be a test for you, character building.

I hated school too.. infacted I bunked a whole yearr,, its once you go back you realsiee how stuiped you was and that you will really need your education to get and e where in life.. Your parentss are just trying to guide you through adnd help you out.. however you do not have to do what they want its your life and your decition after you leave school you can get a job, but it might not be what you want and in which case you will envy yourself beacsue you wish you had got higher education and more time to figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life. Its your call,, what ever decision you make.. just hope that its the right one.
