in your thesis you’re proving two different issues, one, that the pearl is not evil, and two, that the pearl brings out the evil in humans. could you find a way to state it so that you’re only trying to prove one thing? could you just say, “The pearl brings out the evil in human beings.”?
did your instructor ask you to change it for a certain reason?
