What would the rest of the chemical formula be when NaCl mixes with HC2H3O2?

would a gas be formed?

Answer #1

This is probably the wrongest answer ever AND my chemistry is $hit but ima say

NaCI+NC2H3O2= darn it sorry Rose i have tried i cant figure it out…

Answer #2

I think it’s sodium acetate NaC2H3O2 and HCL, but I don’t know the answer to the gas question… i don’t know if hydrogen is produced.

Answer #3

NaCl + HC2H3O2 -> NaC2H3O2 +HCL this should be it i took chem this past year im not quite sure about oxidation numbers so don’t forget to criss-cross

Answer #4

with out oxidation numbers how did u balance your equation and determine what type of displacement would occur?
