Why is it that registered dog breeders are so unwelcoming and unhospitable?

I am looking to breed Jindo gae in the future with my husband and when i joined a FB page they were all snoby, unwelcmong and inhospitable. Why, is it they feel threatened by me? I tried to ask so many question yet no realative answer or help what so ever other than why u wanna breed jindos.

I say the usual because I love the breed and want to share the breed with my country (as i would be the 1st to breed them here in AUS)

It feels like they want all the attention lol but i heard breeding and showing can be competitive but shouldnt the love of the breed bring all together? Heard def showing can be a real Bi-tch o rama xD

Luckly I would not be able to show as there is no breed standard in Aus for Jindogae

How can I get help and more info on the breed etc I will be going back to korea this DEC and will find a breeder there but still I dont get the whole hostile cold vibes i get

Its most likely that the majority of these breeders are heartless and only into breeding because of the high amount of income that can be made from it. They will have seen you as a threat/competition which no business person likes! Its great that you want to breed because of the love for the dogs though and not for the wrong reasons like many others do!! E x

I breed labradors (: I breed the rare champagne, charcoal, and silver labs, and most show breeders are rude about it. I have to deal with because of the color “supposedly” they’re not purebred. But my dogs are DNA’d and all that.
