Red lips

Is red lipstick too aging? Short story. I grew up loving red lipstick…I’m Asian and it always looked good on me and looked nice in pictures…but as I started entering my early twenties and after I had my son…I think it makes me look older than I want to be sometimes. Is it the lipstick or lifestyle? I still love red regardless, but have been opting for the nude gloss lately. Maybe my style is just changing. I don’t know…just curious what you all thought? My profile pic shows me wearing nude gloss and I’ve included my “red lips” picture.

if your comfortable in it then you should keep wearing it but you could also try a red lip stain or a lighter shade or lip stain

With an Asian complexion and colouring, red can be stunning! Experiment with different shades till you find just the right one.

In Nepal, the women are simply gorgeous. Their skin tones resemble your photo, and they wear red in everything - saris, punjabi outfits, bangles, nail polish… and lipstick.

I am 24 and I always wear red lipstick. yes it can age you a bit if you wear the wrong red color. experiment with all shades of red and find a color you like. I use revlons fire and ice, its a classic. its good to update your shade of red as you get older.

Answer #4

I personally don’t like red lipstick, it is too bright for my liking but if you want to wear you go right ahead and where it. I do think it makes people look older when they were it though.

Answer #5

Wear what you feel comfortable in. Personally I’m not very fond of full on red lipstick. If you see my 13 year old cousin when she’s out you’ll see why. lol. It does tend to make people look older, depending on what they wear it with.
