Red Hair x

I love read hair! When I dye mine I usually go red. My hair fades very quickly to a blonde color. So, I don’t wash it the first day or so after coloring it (except to wash out the dye) and, I stay out of the sun as much as possible, so it doesn’t fade, for about a week after coloring it.

Red is a really hard color to keep up. You have to dye it often - almost monthly.

To keep it from fadind as fast, try and wash your hair less often. Like every other day instead of every day. Use a color treatment shampoo.

Buy a color sealer at the beauty supply and a color protection shampoo and conditioner. It will still fade but it takes longer to. Antoher thing I have found useful to “revive” red hair is to stain it with cherry kool-aid. yes cherry kool-aid…lol. Just prepare it with more sugar and less water than the package calls for. Prepare it in a huge bowl or even the kitchen sink, dunk your hair in and wait for like about 15 minutes and wash out.

shampoo is usalluy what fades the colour, and very quickly too any lighter colour you put in your hair, especially if you bleach it first …will fade…even if its permanent shampoo is usually what takes out the colour, and the sun can fade it as well try a colour treated shampoo, but some of them dont work any better than regular shampoo all you can really do it re-dye it when it starts to fade
