really need help.. please

I’ve been trying to do this for 3days.. and its due tomorrow.. I dont want answers.. just help. please!

  • establish justice
  • provide for the common defense
  • promote the general welfare
  • secure the blessings of liberty

answer the following questions for each of the four purposes

  1. Why did the framers of the Constitutions include this purpose in the Preamble? (This is your opinion.)

  2. What provisions (discuss a minimum of two) in the Constitution ensure that this purpose is achieved? (Find two examples of how this idea was worked into the Constitution.)

  3. What examples can you provide (minimum of one) in the present that show our government is still fulfilling this purpose today? (These are general examples - what do you know about how our government works today that demonstrates that each principle is still important today?)

  1. Why did the framers of the Constitutions include this purpose in the Preamble? (This is your opinion.) Establish justice - The framers wanted justice, not rule from a king. They wanted to be ruled by laws, not someone on a throne. Provide for the common defense - They wanted to make sure that once established, they would have the ability to raise money to defend themselves and call up militas (sp?) in order to protect the citizens. Promote the general welfare - All this means is that the laws that are passed are for the protection of the citizens, not the advancement of the government. Secure the blessings of liberty - Liberty, or our freedom, is a blessing in itself. Our government should always work towards the freedom of its citizens.
