$10 a week is suitable for a 12 year old girl. Every other week she will earn $20. It's a good way to limit her from overspending on unimportant things. As a mother, you provide her with her needs. She must be capable of saving up for her wants. You can give her extra tips when she helps out with chores too. Some people like going by the age rule. Whatever age the child is, is the pocket money they get. If the child is 6, he'd get $6. That's also reasonable. $10 is neither too little or too much so it'd get a child thinking of what they really want or want to save up for. These days with the new games coming out every year, children are getting influenced. I think it's a great way for her to be in control of her pocket money starting at a young age.
Pocket money versus allowance, it seems. Pocket money = $15 But if she has saved allowance or from work, it's her choice, but talk to her about responsible spending. You will not bail her out if she goes crazy.
depends. when i was 12 it varried on wether i babysat lately or not. in my opinion, the max should be 50 dollars unless there is an occasion like shopping or something.
$5 - $10 a week, depending on what she'd need it for. As her mother you'll be paying for her necessities anyways, so there's no real need for her to have more.
about $10 a week or less. anything more and they dont really understand how hard money is to make and are likey to spend it on crap they dont need
im 13 and i think a reasonable amount is 10-15 dollars a week, extra if she does chores and helps out with siblings, dishes, ect.
When I was 12 I'd mow lawns, wash cars, etc and I'd have $5-$10 in my pocket each week.. I did pretty well with it ;)
when i was 12 i earnt up to 7 pound a week doing little jobs for my family :)
40 dollars would be good in her pocket.
course you would say that being 14 lol
No more than she needs during the day.
Every other week shud b sufficiant
Like $15 a week is good enough.
I wud say max of 20 dollars
