What are the pro and cons of dimple piercings?

I was thinking of getting dimple piercings in a few months or so, but I just want to know what is the good and bad of it. Also, I’m getting braces soon, so will my braces and dimple piercings (if I do decide to get them) mix together? Please and thank you.

You could get an infection and it will leave a nasty scar. Your body could also reject the piercing.

The only pro I can think of would be that if you don’t naturally have cheek dimples and you get dimple piercings, once you take them out after having them for a while you’ll have dimples. Cons - the usual ones you get with piercings. But if you’re getting braces, I’d say don’t get the piercings done just yet. Getting braces is a hard task as it is. I had them for almost two years and I can imagine oral piercings would be extremely annoying and could catch on them.
