My friend struggles to sleep at night.. A hell of a lot has gone on with her recently & often it's too much for her to cope with.. Her parents disagree with her having any sort of tablets due too a suicidal attempt on Christmas. What other things can she do to try prevent nightmares?
She has a therapist yes, with weekly appointments too. A lot has gone on with her & often its too much for her to cope with. Most people would probably say 'too much' would often be loosing a parent or something like that. What has happened to her is something she can't let go of through any sort of therapy or medication.. But I just wanted to know if there was anything to help her through the night..
She probably thinks about a lot of negative things before she goes to sleep. Has she tried therapy? Maybe she needs to talk to someone about them and relieve the stresses she has that are associated with those dreams.
It's a mental thing. If she thinks about having bad dreams, and expects them, they will probably happen. Keep positive.
