Who were some of the worst presidents in history going all the way back to George Washington?

Bush jr, Jimmy Carter,Richard Nixon, James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, Millard Fillmore, and Herbet Hoover. So there is indeed presidents worse than Bush & Obama.

The worst in my lifetime would be George W Bush. Many historians list Herbert Hoover as the worst president. Hoover’s policies prolonged and deepened the depression and he ignored the threat of NAZI Germany and Imperial Japan prior to WWII.

As stated, Herbert Hoover was blamed for causing the Great Depression, (which he didn’t entirely), and he didn’t take a right approach towards how to handle it.

. I consider Lyndon B. Johnson to be our worst president. He took offensive and unnecessary actions toward the spread of communism in Indochina, which ultimately led to the Vietnam War.

.And yes, of course, how could I forget? George W. Bush. He also took unnecessary actions against tensions in foreign Middle East. He challenged Al Qaeda, which ultimately led to the infamous 9/11 incident.
