Why is that present day kids are more sensitive than olden day kids?

I think parents are different, due to everyone in everyones business, so kids that need their butts busted no longer get this, for fear of being prosecuted.

Why is this seen as a bad thing? I’ve noticed that the younger generation of boys now show their emotions more than when i was in school, i dont see this as a bad thing at all. Its more socially acceptable now for boys to actually show and feel their feelings instead of them being told to suck it up and act like a man. Maybe this generation will provide more loving fathers and partners since they arent holding their feelings back.
